According to Bobbi Brown, the Extra Eye Repair Cream are "packed with peptides, natural plant oils and humectants", specifically targeting "fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness and dryness" and also claims to visibly revive eyes.
The Pluses:
I predominantly use this as a nightly eye cream, as it is very hydrating and gentle, and stays that way throughout the night. The cream is unscented, and is also dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested; proving to be compatible to the most sensitive skin and eyes. These days most eye creams (or any skincare in particular) seem to be laced with floral notes and it's just so unnecessary and serves no purpose, which is probably a big contributing factor to as why I seem to enjoy this so much.
The Minuses:
If you're looking for an eye cream that would sink into your skin quickly, then this wouldn't be the one for you. I know the full sized version is a bigger jar, however the same problem arises when product is housed in a jar: unhygienic. As this functions as both a day and a night cream, if I use this during the day, it takes a really long while for it to actually sink into the skin- let alone apply concealer over the top. There is also a pretty big emphasis on the hydrating aspect, and I feel as though it is really all it does. After consistent use, I don't really see a difference in my fine lines, dark circles.
The Overalls:
Extra Eye Repair Cream is relatively solid, and does require some warmth from your fingers to get the emolliency going. If you're just looking for something really hydrating and gentle, then this is worth giving a go, however if you're after a cream that would help combat your fine lines then this wouldn't be for you. I'd give it 4.5/5 for hydration, but only a 2/5 when you come to consider the benefits vs. RRP ($98AU for 15mL).
