Sapphire

I recently chopped off quite bit of my hair, making it little more difficult to style it with a straightener.  Irresistible Me couldn't have contacted us at a better time as I was on the market for a curler! The wands with the barrels were packaged in a rolled-up, heat proof pouch (think makeup brush roll type of thing), which comes with a heat resistant glove and a stand to lean your curler on.
Irresistible Me claims that the curler will leave your hair smooth and shiny, and the curler itself would last longer, both thanks to the tourmaline technology featured.  It also heats up fast and has the LED screen displaying the temperature that it has heated up to.

As you can see, there are 8 different barrel attachments - which literally covers all bases of any type of curl you want to achieve.  What I found unique about this was the locking mechanism feature - once you insert the barrel, you need to rotate it to lock it in place.  For most of the barrel attachments this was easy enough, however with some of the larger ones, it was a bit harder to lock and unlock. The wand also features the 360 swivel cord, which is such an essential to any hair styling tool, and almost a deal breaker if it didn't have the swivel cord :P

The time that this wand took to heat up was practically within a few minutes, which is pretty crazy if you ask me.  Once you plug this in to a power outlet, a blue screen should pop up indicating 'off', and once the power is actually on, and it has reached your desired temperature, then the LED screen will turn green, telling you that it has reached that temperature.
I'm currently loving the 32mm and the 25mm, as I much prefer the loose, messier curls. However, in saying that, I've seen some girls on youtube create some really voluminous curls with the thinner barrels.  Personally, I don't think I suit the ringlet/tiny curls so I stuck with what I knew best :D I found that you've actually got to properly section the parts properly to ensure you get a nice and full curl, and it's kind of a struggle when your hair is layered and hair starts sticking out midway in the wand T^T

Overall, this is the perfect curler for literally anyone.  Although the price point is a little steep at $199 USD, it will be worth your money as you're pretty much getting 8 curlers with that money; i.e. countless looks with it.  The speed and the ease of use is what really sold me, I can literally curl my hair within about 20 minutes, which is pretty fast for a slow poke like me; so that's sayin' something.
You can purchase the wand here, and it also comes with a 1 year warranty! #win

  2. I feel ya- I was gifted a multi-styler with a thin barrel and I could only achieve smaller curls but when they dropped a bit and I brushed them out they just looked like nice waves! I guess having medium-length hair helps as well- any longer and small-barrel curls just look like ringlets. :( This tool looks so nice! Similar to the NUME.

    1. Thanks! Looking back, the cut wasn't all that much short haha
      I still think straighteners are much easier to curl because you can undo the curl just as easily lol

  4. The curl looks really nice and natural... I have a iron curler - i think that's what you call it... and it takes me forever to curl my hair it's a nightmare, so I never use it.. this looks really interesting though!

  7. I MEAN, YOUR HAIR IS STILL QUITE LONG BY MY STANDARDS ;-;
    I really like the idea of having 8 barrels...kinda in one. It's so convenient and versatile, though not using the smaller barrels (not my style) does kinda seem like a waste. I'd probably end up using the 25 and 32 mm barrels the most too, since I love loose/wavy hair! I actually bought a 1 /12inch curling ward a while back just because loose curls are so pretty :D
